Pumpkin Patch and Twilight

Today was a fun day for Liz and I. We both had the day off. Liz made some amazing home-made CHILI, it was really good. Along with some corn bread and chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. We then went to the Pumpkin Walk, we did not want to go later at night, since it would have been really busy. We got there at a good time. There were some great displays. While we were there though, we did decided that the church needs to come out and talk about Birth Control, we counted a few families with 8 or more kids, and the parents could not control them. But anyways.

Here are some pics:

This witch's face was carved. Great Detail

These are all pumpkins. Great details as well.

I guess pumpkins are so easy to paint and draw, Even a Caveman Can do it

They even had Michael Jackson.

And we also got to be apart of the Pumpkin Walk.

Liz as Harry Potter and Me as the Genie from Aladdin.

After the pumpkin walk we went and borrowed the movie Twilight from my mom, since i have not seen it and the last time Liz attempted to see it she was throwing up and laying on a bench by a garbage can outside the theater. It is actually not as bad as we thought it would be. Liz said that it does leave a lot of the book out, but what movie doesn't. All in all it was a great day and we are excited for this coming saturday, since its halloween. We are going to carve pumpkins and maybe even dress up.

That pumpkin patch looks really neat...it is amazing what some people can do with their pumpkins...me, I am not patient enough...you can barely get a basic Jack-o-lantern out of me. Liz looks good as "Harry". I haven't seen Twilight yet either...one of these days I will watch it. Hope all is going well.
