Fun in July

 July has been a fun month. Its been really hot so a lot of time is spent by the pool and enjoying watching McKinley interact with other kids. She has started to verbalize more, just not in words we can understand, but she does get her point across. She can be feisty.

We have had few fun excursions this month. We went and had dinner with Liz's best friend Heidi and her whole family, it was a fun time and they loved McKinley. She has came up a few times to visit Liz and to get her out of the house. She is great.

We did not have any 4th of July fireworks here in the area. They were all cancelled because of the high fire danger. It was crazy for a few weeks, there were fires all around the northern part of Utah. 

McKinley and I got to go to my parents house for a weekend, so we could give Liz a little break. It was fun and McKinley loved playing with Grandpa and Grandma, and her cousins.

The day i got back from my parents house we went for a drive up on the Mirror Lake Highway and stopped at Provo Falls, they are beautiful. We then went up the road a few more miles and found a beautiful campground right by a lake, we are planning on going in August or early September.  We saw a big bull moose on the drive back.

We also went to SLC for the day to have a family outing. We went to lunch at Olive Garden ( Liz's Fav ), and then went to the Utah Natural History Museum on the U of U Campus. It was cool. McKinley was a track start running around everywhere. She loved all the displays, especially the dinosaurs. She also enjoyed interacting with other kids and parents. She said HI to about 99% of the people.  We then went and walked around some stores and let McKinley eat some popcorn ( Her favorite ).
