Today is McKinley's 3rd birthday. She had such a fun time. She has been asking for about 2 weeks now when it was time for her birthday. Liz called me while I was on my little work trip to Arkansas last week and told me what she had planned and I was real excited. Liz did a great job at planning everything and to make sure McKinley had a fun, and tiring day.
McKinley got up early and was excited to see all the presents she got. She wanted to open all at once.
We had a lunch of Pizza from Papa Johns. And McKinley got to open a few presents after she ate lunch.
Liz found a great inexpensive place just over the border in Idaho called Riverdale Resort and we took McKinley to swim since she loves to swim and be in water. She was so excited to go. She could barely sit still as we pulled up to the place and she saw the big tall water slides. We had a great time. This resort is heated by Geo-thermal pools under the ground and they go from hot to Luke warm. It felt great.
McKinley went down the slides and swam for hours. She went down the slides with Mom and Dad and once halfway by herself when Dad got stuck and she pushed off me and went down ahead of me. She loved the pools. Oh and another bonus, we were the only ones there. Just as we were leaving one person showed up to do laps.

We came home and Liz and McKinley made the dinner McKinley wanted. Kalachie's. Then her Great Grandma and Grandpa Stephenson came out and she opened up her gifts. She was so happy and excited and squealed after each present.

*A Big Deer*
The other night I was in the Kitchen and looked out the window and saw a huge Buck standing in my parents garden. I have heard of this deer and seen other pictures and heard stories that he was shot at a lot last year around Hyde Park and had an arrow or two in him. He survived and is just a beautiful buck. My mom counted 9 points on each side. He is a non-typical. He was not even scared of us, not even a naked little peanut running around the yard to see him scared him off. He just walked around the garden and then laid down and rested for an hour or so.
