Every year Liz and I have been married. We have either moved on or around Mothers Day / Anniversary or something else came up. Well this year we took the Bull by the horns and planned something before going to Texas to get our stuff next week. We booked a great deal on www.ksl.com . Well, we left and stopped in Layton for lunch at Cracker Barrel. We then got to the Park City Peaks hotel and got settled. The hotel room was nice, the beds were great. We went swimming with Peanut and tried out a little a cheap go pro that i got a few weeks ago. It is not a real go pro, but it got the job done. The only thing that it does not have is good HD. So we swam for a few hours, then went to the room so i could give Liz her infusion of medicine and waited for the Pizza, then we went to swim again.
Saturday was a fun day for us. McKinley and I got up early so we went and caught the bus. Park City has a free bus system and i used to drive for them. It was nice seeing some of the drivers that i used to work with. McKinley was hungry so we went to Burger King and i got her a meal and she homped it all. We went to a few stores so i could get breakfast for Liz and I and then we rode the bus again back to the Hotel. We got back to the room and got ready to go do some little outings.
Our first stop was the Utah Olympic Park. It has a free museum and it was really a cool place. We saw lots of Olympic displays and even saw an Olympian, we did not talk to her, but we recognized her from the pictures all over. It is a worth while stop if you are ever in Park City.
Then we went bowling at the Jupiter Bowl. It was the nicest bowling alley Liz has ever been to. The management was so great. We had fun. McKinley beat Liz and I. I hate bowling, just because i gutter a lot. I guttered 7 or 8 balls. I should have used the bumper lanes like McKinley.
We then went back to the room, and had a fast lunch, then went swimming again. Then we all had a nap.
We got up and went to dinner at the Hotel and then went to Park City main street to ride the Trolley and get some chocolates at Rocky Mountain Chocolate. It was great. We even got to pet a really nice dog named Jasper a beautiful golden retriever. We got up on Sunday morning, went swimming again, and then went to breakfast buffet at the hotel. Then came home. Over-all the trip was great. The only negative was we could not stay longer.
We hope you are well. And if any of you are in Houston next weds, we sure could use your help moving a few things into the truck.
