Cabin Night in Denali

Well tonight we went to a great all you can eat dinner and a show. Its called Cabin Night Theater and its on one of the properties that our company runs so employees go for free. It was a hoot. The food was all you can eat ribs, salmon, corn, potatoes, beans, biscuts, and blueberry cobbler. The food was great. The show was fun. Its a mix between EFY and Disney with the singing and the character/actors but it was good. Some of the audience got to be apart and there was this one older man who had a ball, his wife was just sitting back by us laughing and enjoying seeing her husband having a good time, we both heard them say that it made there trip that much more memorable. The play is based on one of the founding women in this area, she came up during the gold rushes and sold food for all the miners and hunters and pioneers. It is served family style, so we sat with 5 other couples and we had a good time talking to them. There were 2 couples from Australia, and then Florida, Indiana, and Illinois and one couple from Texas and we had a great time and they were having a fun time on there trip.

We also got Liz a pair of socks that they were hawking during the dinner. They are very warm Bear socks. They are awesome. Also with the picture of the socks is the metal wall hanging that i got Liz for her birthday and the card that went along with it. It represents me and her. I am the big bear in the picture :)

Tomorrow ( Weds ) we are going to go ride 4-wheelers and we are really excited for that and then we are thinking of going to see the Denali Park Sled Dogs and play with them. We can adopt one for the summer and go walk them and play with them so we are thinking of doing that. Because we miss Mr. MAXO.

Oh we did see a bear. See picture below.......... ( Its right in front of where Liz works, so she sees Old Gus everyday )

Also this morning it snowed for a few hours and out the back window they saw a moose walking across the road. We are loving it here. It honestly has gotten better and better everyday. There is something new to see, the weather is changing, and there is so much to do that we are trying to schedule our days off with tons of stuff. We hope that you are all doing well. Keep in touch and let us know how you are doing.

Alaska love from J and L.
