The past few weeks....

These past few weeks being back here in Utah have been a great eye opening experience for me. Many of you know that i have had my struggles in life with trying to figure out what i wanted to do with it and over the past year and a half while Liz and I have been married, i decided with the encouragement from Liz that i should do what would make me happy. And i have decided to go into the Medical Specialties and Health Care Management Programs. I am loving my classes at Steven Henagers College. I am going to mainly focus on working with Senior Citizens and there families, but i am also going to try to change the way health care is provided to those without insurance. This past year with what all that Liz went through, showed me that there needs to be changes made in favor of WHITES and people who do not have insurance. I am so grateful to have the support of Liz while i am in school and i know while i continue through with all my classes she will be there. Thanks a lot Liz, i love you.

I also wanted to tell Liz how amazing and great she is. She is a great social worker and i have heard from the people she works with how amazing and great she treats her clients. It takes a special person to be able to do that and Liz has that great ability. People who find out she is a social worker always ask her why she went into social work, because they say there is no money in it. She smiles and says, Its not about money, its about how happy i am when i work and how she knows that when she gets to Heaven, she will see those clients, pure and not disabled and they will tell her thanks for all that she did for them. Liz i am so proud of you and i am so grateful that you chose this career path. You should never feel down about the Degree you obtained. You are truly an example to others.

I would have to agree...it takes a special person to become a social worker. Hope all is going well for you two.
