Fathers Day and other Events

It has been a few days since i have posted anything. Things here in Midland are going well. I am enjoying school. Its been so nice being here and knowing that i am working towards a great career. Its been great for Liz to be here as well. Not only because she has lived here before, but because her Family / Parents are closer and can come more often to see her. Our ward has been wonderful. A lot of people in the ward have known Liz and her family for years, they are so welcoming to us and always ask how Liz is doing if she is not at church. If you do now know. Liz is still really sick. She has made friends with another JOHN and sees him a lot. Sometimes i think she likes him more than me :) LOL. She is a fighter and is going through so much that it seems that she will not be able to handle anymore, but somehow she fights through the pain and crap and still tries to live the best she can day to day. Our little baby ( McKinley ) likes to move a lot when she is hungry, other than that, she is quiet and does not move that much. Liz and the baby have to go have some Specialized tests in the next week to check on Mckinley's development. We are hoping and praying for good news.

Liz's parents were also in town for a few days. They had the chance to stay at Marshall B & B. It was great having them here. We had told her dad that he would like the tv show LOST, so when they came, they brought the first few seasons with them. We watched 2 to 4 episodes a night. He really likes them. It was good having family time every night.

They were also here over Fathers Day. Liz and her mom ( Timee ), took care of me and Steve. We had some great rib eye steaks ( thanks Stevo, for cooking the steaks), baked potatoes, shrimp, rolls and peach cobbler. It was a great meal. Liz gave me a new little tool set. It has already been put to use. Liz and her mom also got McKinley's room put together with the help of Steve and I. *pics to come later*

Her room looks great.

We just want to say that we love you all and that we hope that everything in your lives are going well. We thank you for the prayers and good thoughts. We also want to invite anyone one of you to come stay with us. We have extra room.
