Picture Perfect Day

Last Saturday Liz, Mckinley, and I decided to get out of the house and enjoy the nice 80 degree weather here in Midland. I have been wanting to go to the Museum of the Southwest and walk around the grounds to look at some of the great statues and objects.  It is a beautiful place and very peaceful. Not many people were out. We enjoyed walking around the grounds.

There was a cool metal statue of a Texas Long Horn and it looked like it was looking down and smelling McKinley, you can see her trying to reach for it.

We then went to Grahm's Pharmacy, its an old fashioned soda fountain shop here in Midland. It was good. We had ice cream and let McKinley try a coke float, she loved it.

We are excited for our trip to Utah this week. We are leaving Thursday and are going to enjoy a nice break from Midland and let McKinley meet her 2 of her Aunts and Uncles and her cousins.  I know that Madison is excited to be able to play with her. Madison wanted a baby sister so bad, but my brother and his wife and are expecting another boy.  Congrats to them.
