Christmas Week

Christmas was low key for us this year. It was nice being together this year.

We hope you all had a great Christmas.

We decorated Ginger Bread Men, watched Christmas Movies, and enjoyed time together as a family. We also went to Hardware Ranch to go on the sleigh ride into the Winter Elk herd.

McKinley loved this display. She kept pushing the buttons on the side that would make it bugle.

This is a lone antelope that showed up at the Ranch. Funny thing is that he is far away from his normal winter / home range. I have never ever seen an Antelope anywhere near Cache Valley before. Must have came from Wyoming.

Half of the elk herd started staring into the distance just off the meadow and were really nervous. The Ranger/Guide said that something was spooking them and they were smelling it before it was even close to see. Liz saw an animal coming down a hill and go behind some rocks not far from the Fence Line. To big for a coyote, but to small for a wolf.  We are thinking it was  Mountain Lion since the Ranger said that Mountain Lions are everywhere up around the Ranch.
