A fun weekend with the Grandparents from Utah.

 My parents made the trip down from Utah to see their 8th grandchild.  It was so nice having them here. They arrived here on Friday night, and enjoyed a nice meal of Chicken Stir Fry and Egg Rolls, and of course had the chance to hold McKinley.  We ate and talked for a bit and then we went on a walk around Midland College campus. It was fun showing them around our little humble abode.  On the walk back to our apartment, we got a call from our apartment manager and was told that our power was going to be out in the early morning.

 So we decided to get up early and go have breakfast.  We tried going to Denny's, but it was to busy, so we drove to another place called Lori's Cafe. It was really good.  We have found a new breakfast place.  We also drove out to the big Airshow here in Midland. It was cool seeing all of these old planes and jets flying around.

 After that we came home and rested for a while. Then we went out again and went to see the George Bush house, and eat at Grahms Pharmacy. It was a great day. McKinley was not really fussy. Saturday night we went to eat at Cattle Baron for my dad's birthday.

  Sunday morning Liz and I got up and went to church to show off McKinley to the ward. Liz got rushed and was surrounded by a lot of people. When we came home, my parents volunteered to watch McKinley so we could take a nap. It was a much needed rest and i know that my parents enjoyed her.

 Monday, i had to go in and get a tooth pulled and was pretty crazy from the meds, well that is what Liz has said. So my Mom watched her while Liz took care of me.

We want to say Thanks to my parents. This weekend was great and i know that McKinley loved having you  here. She wants to tell you that you are welcome here anytime.
