What we have learned so far.......

 These past 2 1/2 years of marriage have been a great learning experience for Liz and I.  We have had manyfun times and a few sad / rough times, but all in all we would never change what has happened and will continue to happen in our life together and individually.  We were talking tonight and i asked the question what have we learned so far as a couple and as parents.  Here are some of our answers.

As Parents:

1. Sleep is an oddity. * we will never take sleep for granted again *
2. Parenting is best with both a Mom and a Dad.  * Liz does a great job when i am not home, which is alot*
3. Grandparents are a life saver.
4. We never realized that we could love someone so fast.
5. Everybody loves a baby *especially strangers at HEB, Albertsons, and Sams Club*





As a Couple:

Liz: She is not always right
Jon: My way is not always the best way
Liz: Marriage is better than being single
Jon: Roughing it camping is no fun with Liz
Liz and Jon: Road trips together are a blast ( Liz and I both love stopping at little historic places and driving through small towns and just enjoying listening to music as we drive )
Liz: Jon can drive 19 hours straight and enjoy it
Jon: Liz's cooking is amazing. Some of her recipes and meals she has made are eurphoric.
Liz and Jon: Marriage is hard, but so worth it.
Liz: Jon loves me no matter all of my faults and quirks.
Jon: Putting Liz first is never a problem.

I just want Liz to know how much I love her and how great of a mom she is becoming. She is with our little Peanut more than i am, and sometimes it is a little overwhelming for her, but she is doing amazing and i am so proud to call her my wife. She is great and has some great examples to look up to and to follow as i am sure she will have when our daughter is older and raising kids.
