Silver Mountain Resort ( A perfect day with my two favorite girls )

We love getting out and exploring our little slice of heaven. The other day we went to the shopping area and went to this little Christmas store called Christmas at the Lake. It was awesome. It just made Liz and I wish it was snowing and Christmas time. The owners had two beautiful labs that McKinley loved and they came up to her and licked her and let her pet them.

We then went to some art galleries and saw some amazing paintings and pictures. There are a lot of talented local artists here.

Today, i was wondering what Liz and I could do for a little adventure around our little slice of heaven and i asked Liz if she wanted to go to Silver Mountain and ride the Gondola up the mountain. She said Sure, so we got ready and went. It was a great day.  It is about 30 minutes from our house, so we enjoyed seeing the mountains and lakes, rivers and just the great scenery around our area. We got to Resort and got on the Gondola. It was a great ride. Its 3.1 miles long and took about 15 minutes to get up the mountain. Up top there is a restaurant, a children play area, and a disc golf course. The views were amazing. And McKinley got to play in the last bit of snow on the mountain. And the weather today could not have been any better. McKinley really enjoys nature and getting outside. She is so much fun.
